The application of energy metabolism to swimming training
The purpose of this article is to present a plan for training all of the energy systems involved in swimming races. The process of energy metabolism is summarized in the first section. The second section details the three major forms of training that can be used to imporve these energy systems. It also includes some suggestions for needed research.
