Your are here in the service area for scientific information "" of the Institute for Applied Training Science which consists of two elements:
This tool is intended to ensure that more clients, particularly coaches in the sport associations, can benefit from the database SPONET that primarily contains training-science related content and that these clients can use it for their daily work.
We have set up sport specific retrieval tablets with some predefined searches (sport-related and across sports). A click on the appropriate button will immediately provide you with search results for each of the topics. The search strategy is displayed as well. The list of documents is ordered chronologically - the latest recorded entries appear first.
For the topical selected bibliography IAT scientists have selected the most important publications. You enter the selected bibliography by clicking on the button in the top right area of the retrieval tablet.
In addition we offer you three links, which might be interesting for you in connection with literary work and knowledge transfer. You find these links under the actual retrieval tablet:
The link leads you directly to the literature database SPONET to continue your search for more information. The database currently lists almost 40.000 records.
The link in the middle explains our special individual specialized information service , which provides you with information on latest publications which have been selected based on your individual information needs. Here you find the direct access to register for this service.
With the right button you access the websites of the Institute for Applied Training Science.
If you are interested in publications with no full text access on the Internet (which is signaled to you, for example, by requesting you to enter a password), please contact an academic library in the vicinity. If the library cannot help you, we are willing to assist you in obtaining a copy, if we have access to the full text (against payment for copying and postage costs). In this case, please contact the manager of the scientific library of the IAT, Mrs. Heike Vorwerk (Phone: 0049(0)341-4945127 ).
